Softball Recap: Silas Has No Trouble Against Lincoln

Silas's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 25-9 margin over the Lincoln Abes. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Silas got a massive performance out of Tatum Butterfield, who got on base in all six of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs Butterfield has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Rodriguez, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Silas kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Silas has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12 runs. As for Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Silas has already played their next contest, a 21-8 defeat against Gig Harbor on the 2nd. As for Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 21-0 win against Foss on the 3rd.
