Softball Recap: Andrew Jackson Academy Comes Up Short

Andrew Jackson Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 20-5 to the Branchville Yellow Jackets. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Andrew Jackson Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Crosby, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.

Andrew Jackson Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Branchville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Andrew Jackson Academy will challenge Jefferson Davis Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Branchville, they will square off against Lowcountry Leadership at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The NaviGators will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
