Basketball Game Preview: West Orange Warriors vs. Colonial Grenadiers

West Orange is 5-0 against Colonial since November of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The West Orange Warriors just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Colonial Grenadiers at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, West Orange ended up a good deal behind Winter Park and lost 59-44. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Wildcats are ranked 47th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colonial). They enjoyed a cozy 94-77 win over Bridge to Independence on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grenadiers.

West Orange has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Colonial, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

West Orange strolled past Colonial in their previous matchup back in February of 2021 by a score of 80-64. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Orange since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
