Basketball Recap: Pinelands Regional Takes a Loss

Pinelands Regional suffered their biggest defeat since January 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Winslow Township Eagles, falling 71-42. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th in New Jersey, while the Eagles are ranked 125th in New Jersey).

Pinelands Regional has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. Winslow Township's victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

While Pinelands Regional had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Wednesday.
