Baseball Recap: Valencia Takes a Loss

Valencia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Durango Demons. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 8-2 to the Demons when the teams met back in March of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valencia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Durango, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Valencia will face off against Dolores at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Durango, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Montezuma-Cortez at 3:00 p.m. on April 8.
