Basketball Game Preview: Brantley Bulldogs vs. Southern Choctaw Indians

The Brantley Bulldogs will square off against the Southern Choctaw Indians on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Brantley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Pleasant Home by a score of 67-59. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Jayden Parks was his usual excellent self, going 14 for 22 to rack up 38 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Brantley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Freeman, who went 5 of 9 en route to 14 points.

Meanwhile, Southern Choctaw entered their tilt with Marengo on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They enjoyed a cozy 55-38 win over the Panthers.

Southern Choctaw's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Brantley, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.
