Basketball Recap: Anson Takes a Loss

Anson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Stanly Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-39 back in November of 2024.

Anson's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for North Stanly, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Anson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Stanly, they will welcome South Stanly at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
