Soccer Game Preview: Long County vs. Islands

The Long County Blue Tide will face off against the Islands Sharks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Long County's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Woodville-Tompkins by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Islands). They were the clear victor by a 9-0 margin over Johnson on Thursday. The Sharks haven't had any issues with the Atomsmashers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Long County's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Islands, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
