Sand Rock skates past Coosa Christian with ease

The Sand Rock Wildcats can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They blew past Coosa Christian 67-22 at home. Winning may never get old, but Sand Rock sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Sand Rock had a senior duo take command as Katelyn St.clair scored 21 points along with three steals and Zoey Handy scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. St.clair has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Chloe Stephens, who scored five points along with seven steals.

Sand Rock is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Coosa Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Sand Rock will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sylvania at 6:00 p.m. As for Coosa Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Cullman Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Cullman Christian's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Coosa Christian has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
