Baseball Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

Lafayette lost against Lexington Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Generals fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2.

Lafayette has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season. As for Lexington Christian, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

While Lafayette had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
