Volleyball Recap: Gray Stone Day Takes a Loss

The Gray Stone Day Knights lost 3-0 to the Lexington Yellowjackets on Monday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gray Stone Day was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-13, 25-9.

Gray Stone Day's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Lexington, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gray Stone Day is set to take on their familiar foe Tri-City Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lexington will challenge rival Triad Math and Science Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
