Basketball Recap: KIPP Legacy Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

KIPP Legacy came into Sunday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 65-60 victory over the Liberty North Eagles on Sunday. The win was all the more spectacular given KIPP Legacy's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while Liberty North is ranked 30th).

KIPP Legacy's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Liberty North, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

KIPP Legacy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-46 loss against Park Hill on the 30th. Liberty North has also already played their next game, a 67-62 defeat against Summit Christian Academy on the 30th.
