Basketball Recap: Toppenish Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Toppenish challenged Ephrata on Friday. The Wildcats fell 45-38 to the Tigers. Wildcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Tigers since Friday.

Toppenish has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Ephrata, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 4-17 record.

As of now, neither Toppenish nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
