Recap: Bourbon County Colonels vs. Carroll County Panthers
On Saturday, Bourbon County came up short against the Panthers and fell 52-42. Bourbon County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carroll County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braden Stephenson, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Groves, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Bourbon County has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Carroll County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-10.
Bourbon County will stay at home for another game and welcome the Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Paris is ranked 194th, while the Colonels are ranked 170th). Carroll County will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th.
