B District 1 (8 Man) recap September 17, 2013
Waukomis fell to Garber 62-16 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Wolverines led B District 1 (8 Man) in scoring this week by notching 62 points on the Chiefs.
Robby Webb was the best receiver in the league this week as Medford fell to Merritt. Webb racked up 3 receptions for 71 yards. Cayde Neumann helped Medford's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 65 yards.
Alex Koehn was a passing and rushing force as the Cardinals fell to the Oilers. He completed 6 passes for 122 yards and also ran for 2 yards.
Webb was the best running back in the league this week. In 13 carries, he ran for 78 yards as Medford fell to Merritt. Ryan Banks also contributed to the rushing game with 39 yards on the ground.
Josh Irvin put up the best numbers in passing as Pond Creek-Hunter topped Covington-Douglas. He had a total of 3 completions for 82 yards. Irvin's favorite target this week was Zach Rayner, who caught 2 passes for 55 yards.
The top two teams in B District 1 (8 Man) will face off this week when first place Ringwood takes on second place Pond Creek-Hunter.
Waukomis suffered the largest drop in the standings this week, falling from first to sixth in the league. The drop came on the heels of a loss to Garber during the week, 62-16.
