Volleyball Recap: Pomona Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against D'Evelyn, Pomona was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Wheat Ridge Farmers by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Farmers: they've now won five in a row.

Pomona was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 11-25, 25-19.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-17. As for Wheat Ridge, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pomona will challenge rival Littleton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Wheat Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe D'Evelyn at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
