Basketball Recap: Neumann Regional Academy Comes Up Short

Neumann Regional Academy lost against Montgomery back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Montgomery Red Raiders. The Golden Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andrew Walter and Daiton Thompson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Walter posted 18 points, while Thompson earned 16 points. The matchup was Walter's third in a row with at least ten points.

Neumann Regional Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-10. As for Montgomery, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Neumann Regional Academy is taking a road trip to face off against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Montgomery has already played their next game (against Muncy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
