Volleyball Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Port Neches-Groves Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-16, 25-8.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Port Neches-Groves, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 26-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lee will square off against rival Port Arthur Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Port Neches-Groves is set to face off against their familiar foe Nederland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
