Volleyball Recap: Central Cabarrus Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Central Cabarrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Ragin' Bulls from their previous meeting back in August of 2017.

Central Cabarrus took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-18.

Central Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hickory Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central Cabarrus is set to square off against their familiar foe Olympic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hickory Ridge will challenge rival West Cabarrus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
