Recap: Idaho City Wildcats vs. Notus Pirates
The Idaho City Wildcats lost against the Notus Pirates back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The contest between Idaho City and Notus wasn't particularly close, with Idaho City falling 56-41. Idaho City has struggled against Notus recently, as their game on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Allison Grandeen was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds for Notus. Grandeen has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last five times she's played. Lesley Martinez was another key contributor, scoring three points along with ten rebounds and six steals.
Idaho City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Notus, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
Idaho City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Notus, they will face off against Wilder at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Idaho (Wilder is ranked 129th, while Notus is ranked 111th).
