Basketball Recap: Humphreys County Gets the Win

Humphreys County won the last time they faced Edwards and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Humphreys County Cowboys managed a 32-27 win over the Edwards Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

JAMYRAH HARRIS was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. JAYLAH JONES was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five boards and five steals.

Humphreys County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-14 record this season. As for Edwards, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humphreys County will venture away from home to challenge Amanda Elzy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edwards, they will head out on the road to take on Winona at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
