Volleyball Game Preview: Northeastern Jets vs. West Jefferson Roughriders

The Northeastern Jets will venture away from home to square off against the West Jefferson Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northeastern will be strutting in after a win while West Jefferson will be coming in after a defeat.

Northeastern took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Ridgemont. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Jets as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Northeastern was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 25-21, 25-13.

Meanwhile, West Jefferson came up short against Fairbanks on Monday and fell 3-1. The Roughriders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 22-25, 25-8.

Northeastern's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for West Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Northeastern might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from West Jefferson in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Jets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
