Volleyball Recap: Juab Victorious

Juab won the last time they faced Providence Hall and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wasps walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Patriots. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wasps.

Juab had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-18.

Kendall Heap had an outrageously good game as she had four digs and two aces. What's more, she racked up 21 assists, the most she's had since back in August. Another player making a difference was Cairo Bradford, who had 11 digs and three assists.

They weren't the only good server: Juab was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Juab now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Providence Hall, they moved to 11-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Juab will take on Sky View in a tournament on Friday. As for Providence Hall, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Delta at 6:30 p.m.
