First Flight came tearing into Tuesday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Currituck County Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Nighthawks have posted since September 13th.

First Flight was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 24-26, 22-25, 25-22, 15-10.

Parker Fowler paced First Flight's offense, picking up 13 kills. Fowler got some help from Savannah Schnader and her 36 assists.

First Flight's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Currituck County, with the defeat, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-12.
