Football Recap: Harbor Comes Up Short

Harbor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers.

Andres Martinez threw for 90 yards and one TD. Malik Wooden was his top target, picking up 66 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Hudson Coffey Pennell rushed for 48 yards.

Harbor's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Rancho San Juan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Harbor is set to take on their familiar foe Pajaro Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rancho San Juan will square off against rival Marina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
