Basketball Recap: Pawhuska Skates Past Webster with Ease

Pawhuska had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 55-9 victory over the Webster Warriors. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 28 points or more this season.

Pawhuska was led to victory by Hannah Reynolds and Brooklyn Miles. Reynolds went 7 for 11 en route to 17 points and four steals, while Miles made all 6 shots she took to post 14 points. Miles is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Audrianna Miles also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Pawhuska was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Pawhuska's record now sits at 12-2. As for Webster, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Pawhuska won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Morrison at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pawhuska is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3 points per game this season. As for Webster, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Summit Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
