Basketball Game Preview: Chrisman Cardinals vs. Westville Tigers

Chrisman hasn't had much luck against Westville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Chrisman Cardinals take on the Westville Tigers at 6:00 p.m.

Chrisman is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. The match between them and Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin didn't end well, with Chrisman falling 30-13.

Chrisman's loss came about despite a quality game from Taylor Jones, who posted seven points along with 12 boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Whitnie Haton, who had four points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Westville can bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against Oakwood by a score of 41-30.

Chrisman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Westville, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 7-19.

Chrisman was able to grind out a solid victory over Westville in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 39-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chrisman since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
