Basketball Recap: Caliche Wins Going Away Against Lone Star

Caliche's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Lone Star Longhorns 54-34. The Buffaloes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Lone Star still got an impressive performance from Jade Kuntz, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Peytyn Kuntz, who posted seven points and five boards.

Caliche is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Lone Star, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Caliche didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-24 victory against Creek Valley on the 4th. As for Lone Star, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 61-31 win against Potter-Dix on the 6th.
