Softball Recap: Northern Cambria Takes a Loss

Northern Cambria lost against Cambria Heights on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Colts came up short against the Highlanders, falling 13-2. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northern Cambria saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julia Mitory, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Those RBI marked the first that Mitory brought in this season.

Northern Cambria's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cambria Heights, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northern Cambria will venture away from home to take on Blacklick Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cambria Heights, they will face off against Marion Center at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Stingers' pitching crew has only allowed 0.8 runs per game this season, so the Highlanders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
