Basketball Recap: Booneville Takes a Loss

Booneville lost against Charleston back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Booneville Bearcats fell 55-43 to the Charleston Tigers.

Booneville has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Charleston, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Booneville will head out to square off against Paris at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paris will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Booneville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Charleston, they will square off against Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Charleston knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Lamar likes a good challenge.
