Fisher Catholic came out on top against Miller on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run first inning. The Irish put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 16-0 victory. Considering the Irish have won seven contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Lauren Kersell made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances.
