Iola came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Prairie View Buffalos on Tuesday. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23.

Iola's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 5-16. As for Prairie View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Iola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Fredonia on the 2nd. As for Prairie View, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Butler on the 2nd.
