Basketball Recap: Mount Miguel Comes Up Short

Mount Miguel lost against Hoover back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mount Miguel Matadors took a 56-41 bruising from the Hoover Cardinals. The Matadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mount Miguel's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Hoover, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-7.

Mount Miguel will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clairemont at 3:00 p.m. on December 31st. Hoover has already played their next matchup, a 68-64 victory against Southwest SD on the 21st.
