 After three games on the road, Caldwell County is heading back home. They will take on the Webster County Trojans at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Caldwell County is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.2  runs per game  this season.
 Caldwell County is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout  on Friday, just like they did against Lyon County (and have done all season long). Caldwell County blew past Lyon County 10-3.  On the hitting side,  Brylee Butts and  adley lewis did most of the damage at the plate:  Butts  went 4-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and a  triple, while  lewis  went 3-for-5 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  doubles.  Alicia Stanley was another key contributor,  going 1-for-4 with four  RBI, a  run,  and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Webster County might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Christian County who claimed the real prize. Webster County wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-3), but sadly  the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for them in their matchups with Christian County: they've now lost six in a row.
 Webster County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jenna Shelley, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Caldwell County's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 11-8-1. As for Webster County, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.
 Friday's   contest will be a test for both team's pitchers. Caldwell County hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .359. However, it's not like Webster County struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .332. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
