Basketball Recap: Lawson Takes a Loss

Lawson lost against Penney on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lawson Cardinals might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 53-44 to the Penney Hornets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Penney, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Lawson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 48-46 loss against Stewartsville on the 22nd. As for Penney, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-42 defeat against Chillicothe on the 21st.
