Grayslake Central's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Cary-Grove Trojans by a score of 2-1.

Grayslake Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cary-Grove, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.

Looking ahead, Grayslake Central will challenge Libertyville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cary-Grove, they are taking a road trip to challenge Maine South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
