            Football Recap: Ellsworth Panthers vs. Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks        
        
		
        
        
            If Ellsworth was riding high  fresh off their  27-6 takedown of Amery last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers were beaten by the Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks 48-8 on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Blackhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Ellsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Baldwin-Woodville, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
 Coming up, Ellsworth will be playing in front of their home fans against Somerset  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.17  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Baldwin-Woodville, they will head out to  face off against Altoona  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Railroaders' defense has only allowed 12.8  points per game  this season, so the Blackhawks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
