Basketball Recap: Sherburne-Earlville Takes a Loss

Sherburne-Earlville lost against Mt. Markham back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Sherburne-Earlville Marauders took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Markham Mustangs. The Marauders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sherburne-Earlville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Mt. Markham, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

While Sherburne-Earlville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
