Preview: Moapa Valley Pirates vs. Dixie Flyers        
        
		
            
 Moapa Valley has been on the road for four straight, but  on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Dixie Flyers at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Moapa Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three  games by 33  points or more this season. They took their  matchup on the road  on Saturday with ease, bagging a  68-30 win over Lincoln County. The  game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  36-13.
  Andie Wood had a dynamite game for Moapa Valley,  scoring 27 points along with 6  steals.  Claire Cox was another key contributor,  scoring 15 points.
 Meanwhile, Dixie's game  on Saturday was all tied up 30-30 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They snuck past Monument Valley with a  52-48 victory.
  Kealah Faumuina was the offensive standout of the  match as she  scored 16 points along with 9  rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which  she has scored at least 25% of Dixie's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hali Smith, who  scored 12 points along with 5  steals.
 Moapa Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Dixie, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Moapa Valley came up short against Dixie when the teams last played  back in December of 2022, falling  42-32. Thankfully for Moapa Valley,  Jaide Bundy (who  scored 21 points along with 5  steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
