Texas football teams with biggest jumps in the computer rankings after Week 2.

Week 2 of the football season in Texas wrapped up last weekend and 10 of the 1,200 teams in the state jumped over 200 spots in the MaxPreps Texas Football Computer Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. Another roughly 75 teams jumped 100 spots in the rankings.

Greenhill (Addison)
Jumped 255 spots to No. 307. The Hornets (2-0) are coming off a 59-39 victory over Casady (Oklahoma City). Greenhill has now scored 101 points already this season.

Bishop
Jumped 222 spots to No. 706. The Badgers (2-0) secured their first shutout of the season by defeating Kaufer 28-0. Bishop's defense has played well early, giving up just six points in the first two games.



Clear Falls (League City)
Jumped 217 spots to No. 625. The Knights (1-1) got their first win of the season by sneaking past Bellaire 28-21.

Arp
Jumped 213 spots to No. 400. The Tigers (1-1) scored their first victory of the season, downing Hughes Springs 42-20 last week. It was an offensive explosion for Arp after tallying just 14 points in Week 1.

Spring Hill (Longview)
Jumped 211 spots to No. 623. The Panthers (2-0) stayed undefeated by handing Brownsboro its second loss 40-28. Spring Hill scored 20 fourth-quarter points to pull out the victory.

Buffalo
Jumped 205 spots to No. 650. The Bison (2-0) took on Normangee and came home with a 31-8 victory. Buffalo is now averaging 36 points per game.

West Oso (Corpus Christi)
Jumped 205 spots to No. 687. The Bears (2-0) racked up 244 rushing yards to help beat Taft 36-20.

Reicher Catholic (Waco)
Jumped 203 spots to No. 578. The Cougars (2-0) tallied another big offensive game, downing Moody 42-17. The team is averaging 45 points per contest.

Grape Creek (San Angelo)
Jumped 201 spots to No. 558. The Eagles (2-0) put up 50-plus points for the second week in a row, beating Ballinger 55-30.



Jefferson
Jumped 200 spots to No. 507. After falling by just two points in the season opener, the Bulldogs (1-1) got on track with a 58-33 win over Pewitt (Omaha).
