Softball Recap: Fort Worth Christian Comes Up Short

Fort Worth Christian lost against Southwest Christian School back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Eagles, falling 13-1.

Fort Worth Christian dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Southwest Christian School, they moved to 15-5-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Fort Worth Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
