Soccer Recap: Galileo Comes Up Short

Galileo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Appomattox County Raiders. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Galileo struggled afterwards.

Galileo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for Appomattox County, they pushed their record up to 8-4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Galileo didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Chatham on the 21st. As for Appomattox County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Altavista on the 21st.
