The Plattsmouth Blue Devils got the win against Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] on Saturday by a conclusive 8-2. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Plattsmouth got a great performance from Chance Jackson as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched.

At the plate, Henry Loontjer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Louis Ingram, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Plattsmouth is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt], they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
