Soccer Recap: Scottsburg Comes Up Short

Scottsburg lost against Corydon Central back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors lost 7-1 to the Panthers. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Scottsburg were already down 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Keira Wynn, which was the first she's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Scottsburg and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Corydon Central, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Scottsburg and Corydon Central will both be playing Christian Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Panthers will head out to face the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
