Soccer Recap: Virginia High Comes Up Short

Virginia High lost against Abingdon back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Virginia High came up short against Abingdon, falling 5-0. Virginia High have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Virginia High's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Abingdon, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Virginia High will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lebanon at 5:30 p.m. on April 8. As for Abingdon, they will be playing at home against Lee at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will give Abingdon their first taste of in-conference action this season.
