Recap: Jenkins Warriors vs. Spalding Jaguars
On Saturday, Jenkins beat Spalding 56-43. The win made it back-to-back wins for Jenkins.
Anthony Aj bynum continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Aj bynum is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah James, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Cedric Evans and Tavares Stinson certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Evans scored 11 points, while Stinson scored seven points.
Jenkins now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Spalding, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.
Jenkins and Social Circle will face off at 2:30 p.m. on December 27, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Social Circle will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 451st, while Jenkins is ranked 179th). Spalding will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Perry at 6:30 p.m. on January 2nd. Perry is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
