Reedley and Fresno Christian are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2022, but not for long. The Pirates will venture away from home to challenge the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Reedley came up short against Immanuel and fell 3-1. The Pirates have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

While Reedley ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Fresno Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Fresno Christian took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-14.

Reedley's loss dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Fresno Christian, they pushed their record up to 8-21 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Reedley took their victory against Fresno Christian in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
