Warner proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 20) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They escaped with a win against the San Diego Academy Cavaliers by the margin of a single free throw, 34-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since January 16th.

Warner can attribute much of their success to Bradly Guachino, who posted ten points and three steals. Brandon Tamayo was another key player, putting up six points.

Warner's record is now 2-0. As for San Diego Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Warner won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Logan Memorial Education Campus at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for San Diego Academy, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on High Tech NC at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
