Soccer Recap: Cedar Ridge Comes Up Short

Cedar Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stony Point Tigers. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 5-2 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Stony Point, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 4-4-1.

Cedar Ridge has already played their next matchup (against Vandegrift), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Stony Point will be playing at home against Manor at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
