Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Norco

The Centennial Huskies are taking a road trip to square off against the Norco Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Norco will have to contend with a Centennial team hungry for a win, something the squad hasn't seen since December 27. Centennial fell just short of Santiago by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Huskies couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Norco challenged Corona on Tuesday. Neither Norco nor Corona could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, the Cougars got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.

They hit Corona with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abraham Garcia, Alex Cervantes, and Jesse Garcia.

Norco's draw makes their record 7-2-7 this season. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-4.
